Missional Communities at Reflect Church are called rGroups.
rGroups are the building blocks of Reflect Church. We believe the strength of Reflect Church is not in our seating capacity but in our sending capacity. Jesus sent out the early church with a mission: to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20) and to be witnesses (Luke 24:44-49; Acts 1:8) of His life, death and resurrection, otherwise known as The Gospel.
rGroups are a place to learn about Jesus together, eat together, pray together, serve together, play together and party together. However, rGroups are not just those things; rGroups are Gospel-Community on Mission. As Jesus' people, we are Gospel People or a Gospel Community, who live out of our Gospel Identity with Gospel Intentionality in everyday, ordinary life.
rGroups are a place to be educated about what Jesus did for you, encouraged by what Jesus is doing in you and empowered to do what Jesus wants to do through you. In other words, rGroups are people who want to cultivate their Gospel Identity and catalyze their Gospel Intentionality.
In rGroups, we cultivate our Gospel Identity through the 4R Revolution. We catalyze our Gospel Intentionality by asking three questions:
- Who are we reaching with the gospel of God?
- Who or what are we restoring by the grace of God?
- How are we reflecting the glory of God?
If rGroups are the building blocks of Reflect Church, then Catalyst Relationships are the building blocks of rGroups.
